Grover founder Michael Cassau will speak at this year’s EU-Startups Summit on April 20-21 in Barcelona!

On April 20-21, 2023, we will be welcoming you again to our annual EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona! This year, the event will be bigger and better than ever before and we’ll have lots of exciting speakers, panel discussions, networking activities, pitch competitions and much more. The EU-Startups Summit will gather over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts and investors for two days of networking, inspiration and learning!

Today, we are very excited to share that Michael Cassau, the Founder and CEO of Grover will join us on the main stage for a fireside chat about his entrepreneurial journey.

Berlin-based Grover became a unicorn after a funding round of $303 million in equity and debt funding in April of 2022. Founded in 2015, Grover’s mission is to make exceptional technology more accessible, because technology is a basic human right. With Grover, subscribers get access to a wide range of over 5,000 tech products, including smartphones, laptops, virtual reality (VR) gear, wearables, and smart home appliances on a flexible monthly rental basis. Grover’s service allows its users to keep, switch, buy, or return products depending on their individual needs and budget – and circular approaches like this are increasingly becoming a societal norm. With a team of over 400 people, it has raised a total funding amount of €1.4 billion since inception.

After the announcement of its unicorn status, Grover locked in another €270 million in debt financing, launched an eSIM mobile service in partnership with the US-based Gigs, and a few months ago Michael Cassau also was a guest in our podcast.

We can’t wait to welcome Michael to this year’s EU-Startups Summit! He will join us for a fireside chat to share insights into growing a globally successful company that advocates a more sustainable society, and share learnings from his inspiring entrepreneurial journey.

Needless to say, it’ll be unmissable. Don’t forget to secure your ticket as soon as possible, and add this very special event to your calendar in 2023!
