Polish business travel platform Hotailors scores €23 million to fuel international growth

Owner of the Hotailors brand, Travel Manager, has just picked up €23 million in new funding from DC24 ASI. Offering a comprehensive booking platform for corporate travel, Hotailors is now looking to expand internationally and rebrand to ‘WorkTrips.com’.

Founded in 2016, Hotailors’ SaaS offering is based on AI, helping users to book, organize, supervise and have oversight on employee trips. The Polish startup already offers flights from over 900 airlines, 2.2 million hotels worldwide, with 24/7 customer service and flexible invoicing.

Filip Błoch, CEO and co-founder of Hotailors, explained: “We managed to survive the most difficult pandemic period for the industry. It was a time of major redundancies and restructuring among agents specializing in business travel. We used this time to expand our sales team, develop our technology and IT department and strengthen our visibility. We are now seeing an upturn in the market and the return of multinational corporations to business travel.”

Travel Manager was developed to make it easy for companies to organize business travel, specializing in handling work trips for external employees, such as those working on contracts. Via the Hotailors app, users can quickly book flights, hotels and organize business trips within employee limits, while the company receives one collective invoice. The company gives customers access to complete knowledge of business travel costs and real-time management, as well as real-time control over expenses.

Filip continued: “The breakthrough in our story was primarily the integration with global technology giant SAP. Today, our solution is published in the SAP Concur App Center and provides seamless integration to synchronize travel data and transfer the cost of a non-staff employee to the SAP Concur system. This ensures the solution meets all integration standards with international companies using our solution including Google, Vodafone, and Microsoft. We are not slowing down, which is also proved by offering new products, including the possibility of purchasing travel insurance and cancellation insurance from our partner – AxaPartners.”

With this fresh funding, Hotailors will continue its goal to become a leading player in the global business travel market, with plans to expand and strengthen its position in existing markets, as well as expand into new ones – including into Africa. The firm is also rebranding to ‘WorkTrips.com’ and launching new insurance and financial products.
