The highly-anticipated EIT Health Summit 2022 is set to take place from the 24th to the 25th of May 2022 at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, in-person and online, and there’s just one month left to claim your spot!

Hosted by EIT Health (part of the EIT, a body of the European Union), this year’s flagship event will convene experts who will share their insights on how healthcare systems can incorporate and reform new care delivery and financial approaches, learn from the impact of COVID-19 and ensure that healthcare systems are sustainable, resilient and prepared for future health threats.

More than ever, the COVID-19 crisis has highlighted the need for innovative thinking and new ways of working in light of the challenges presented.

With this in mind, EIT Health has pulled together an exciting programme for this year’s Summit which incorporates expert opinions and views from healthcare thought leaders from around 30 different countries. Ensuring that the content presents the most cutting-edge themes and thinking is the Advisory Group, which includes experts from the European Commission, Karolinska Institutet, European Patients’ Forum, OECD, BioMed Alliance and many more.

The two-day hybrid event will explore how we can build a framework for transformation with world-class speakers taking to the stage for inspiring talks, interactive Q&As, and workshops. Whether attending in-person in Stockholm or remotely, participants will have the unique opportunity to listen to and interact with some of the most progressive thinkers in healthcare.

Don’t miss the impressive speaker line-up, with confirmed participants including Audrey Tang, Digital Minister of Taiwan, Andrzej Ryś, Director of Health Systems, Medical Products & Innovation DG Santé at the European Commission, Anna Sandström Director Science Policy and Relations Europe at AstraZeneca, Jessica Mahoney, Policy Analyst at the OECD, Martin Kern, Director of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology and Lucien Engelen, CEO at Transform.Health and Strategist in Healthcare Innovation for Deloitte.

The Event will see talks and discussions looking at next-generation healthcare and human-centred innovation, how to rethink health governance and policy and also take a look at how the life sciences industry is evolving. Day 1 of the Summit will also include the EIT Health Catapult Final & Award Ceremony. The second day continues with an exciting schedule, with topics such as telehealth and healthcare innovation and investment taking centre stage, with a closing plenary exploring the move towards a ‘Healthcare Renaissance’. The Summit certainly is two days that anyone in the healthcare or life sciences sectors needs to add to their calendar!

The EIT Health Summit 2022 will be available to attend either in person in Stockholm, or online with selected sessions and networking available via an events platform that will allow attendees to tune in virtually.
