Jochen Engert, Founder and CEO of FlixBus, will join us at the EU-Startups Summit on May 12-13 in Barcelona!

On May 12-13 we’ll finally celebrate the in-person comeback of our annual EU-Startups Summit – connecting 1,600+ of Europe’s smartest founders, startup enthusiasts and investors! The 2-day event will provide great opportunities for networking, inspiration and learning, and we’ll also have an exciting pitch competition.

Today, we’re super excited to introduce our next speaker highlight: FlixBus founder and CEO Jochen Engert will join us at this year’s EU-Startups Summit!

Disrupting long-distance travel since 2013, FlixBus is a unicorn startup and a leader in the European mobility sector, offering fresh alternatives for convenient, affordable and environmentally friendly travel. The fast-growing company quickly established itself as Europe’s largest long-distance bus network and launched the first green long-distance train service in 2018. FlixMobility takes part in the recently started research project HyFleet together with its partners Freudenberg Fuel Cell e-Power Systems and ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Together they work on the development of a high-performance fuel cell system to completely replace conventional diesel drives and reach carbon neutrality

The Munich-based unicorn now has an ever-expanding network of over 400k daily connections to 2.5k destinations in 36 countries. Since 2013, FlixBus has given over 100 million people a new way to travel across Europe, has raised over €1 billion in funding and has been growing a team of more than 3,000 employees as part of the mission to bring smart and green mobility to everyone.

Jochen is the Co-founder and CEO of FlixBus, and has been leading the company’s fast-paced growth as it has taken the European mobility sector by storm. At the EU-Startups Summit, Jochen will join us for a fireside chat, sharing insights from his entrepreneurial journey and the impressive growth story of Flixbus.

Have we caught your attention yet? Make sure to secure your ticket now to learn from Jochen, as well as from 70+ other speakers at this year’s EU-Startups Summit. May 12-13 are two dates you need marked in your calendar!
