Giuseppe De Filippo is one of Europe’s leading experts in the private market industry, with a vast network among companies, alternative asset managers, and investors, having led more than 200 private equity placements for his clients.
In October 2020 he joined the Julius Baer Bank in Switzerland as a Managing Director, to build and lead the Direct Private Investment franchise in Europe and Asia. He was previously at UBS, where during his 14 years he had been the Global Head of both the Direct Investments Group and of the Corporate Finance Group, with teams focusing on originating, and executing transactions in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Dr. De Filippo will join us on our workshop stage to give a talk on “Running a Successful Capital Raise: Overcoming challenges when it is not going as planned” – a must-attend for any startup founder!
