Birdhouse has launched a pioneering Aging and Longevity Accelerator Program to support innovation in the agetech sector. Applications are now open with a March 2 deadline!

As one of the first accelerators in Europe dedicated to aging and longevity, Birdhouse’s new accelerator programme is on the hunt for startups disrupting the agetech sector. Belgium-based Birdhouse is on the radar of international investors and corporates for its commitment to this booming sector, and so it’s a great chance to get exposure of your fresh innovation.

The global population is getting older, and along with the aches and pains in aging bodies, there are different economic and social challenges arising. Government institutions, businesses, and research centres are all increasingly turning attention to this challenge and startups are offering some really interesting new ideas. Birdhouse’s accelerator program will help up-and-coming startups scale internationally.

The Aging and Longevity Accelerator Program gives startups the chance to grow and scale over a sixteen-week period. Participants will work with intensive guidance towards explosive growth through access to expertise, capital, and an incredibly valuable international network.

During the course of the program, participants get access to dedicated mentoring from an impressive lineup of over 25 renowned mentors, financial support, networking opportunities, days with keynote speakers representing the highest divisions of the startup world, advisors with decades of experience, a fully equipped office space, personalized tracks, as well as a matchmaking services to connect each startup with experts that will best help them grow. Alongside all of this, there is also the chance to have some fun, with different events, team building and fun activities included. 

Each startup gets a group of 5 people from the Birdhouse network, consisting of a board of advisors. It means that each startup gets a tailored experience and the personal advice that makes the difference when trying to scale. 

The program is a success thanks to its highly collaborative nature. Through the various partnership programs, participants can test go-to-market strategies and product offerings in partners’ distribution channels. This is on top of using media space in publications dedicated for healthcare professionals, and accessing a panel of over 6000+ people aged between 50 and 104 – an unparalleled opportunity for innovators in the agetech sector.
