Omio CEO and Founder Naren Shaam will speak at our EU-Startups Summit on May 12-13 in Barcelona

The EU-Startups Summit is just around the corner! We’re bringing you the exclusive chance to join us in Barcelona on May 12-13 for an in-person event where you can listen to inspirational and educational talks from founders of Europe’s hottest startups, network and connect with over 1,500 attendees from all over Europe, and enjoy the always-exciting startup pitch competition – and that’s not all!

Time is flying, so we’re very excited to introduce another speaker to our star-studded lineup: Omio CEO and Founder Naren Shaam!

Founded in 2013 in Berlin, Omio has grown to an international team of 300 people from more than 50 countries working in hubs like Berlin, Prague, London and New York. The travel tech unicorn is on a mission to empower customers to go on journeys that move them. Omio’s travel app and the platform allow people to find and book trains, buses and flights in one place. Partnering with over 800 transport operators, Omio lets travellers search for any location, including cities, towns and villages, showing the best possible transport combinations from multiple sources. In August 2020 the startup raised €84 million, an impressive feat for a travel company during the pandemic. The German unicorn has now raised more than €345 million.

At this year’s Summit, Naren will join us in Barcelona to give his insights on travel tech after the pandemic, discussing how delivering better travel services will fuel a more sustainable future. This is one that’s sure to be fascinating, and you definitely don’t want to miss it!.

We can’t wait to see you at this year’s summit as we make the long-awaited return to in-person events. In the meantime, more info on the event can be found here (we update this page pretty regularly, so keep a close eye 😉 )
