Clue Co-CEO’s Audrey Tsang and Carrie Walter will speak at the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona on May 12-13

The 8th edition of the annual EU-Startups Summit is just around the corner! We can’t wait to welcome you to the prestigious event taking place on May 12 -13 in beautiful Barcelona. You will have the amazing opportunity to connect and network with over 1,500 attendees from across Europe, get inspired during talks from Europe’s most successful entrepreneurs and startup founders, and experience the always-exciting startup pitch competition!

Today we are very excited to introduce you to two female CEO’s in our speaker lineup: Clue co-CEO’s Audrey Tsang and Carrie Walter!

Founded in Berlin in 2013, Clue is taking on the world by storm as the science-backed leader in femtech, helping over 12 million people with a cycle to understand their menstrual health. The app is used across 190 countries and is one of the most popular apps in the “Health & Fitness” category in the United States, Germany, the UK, Brazil, France, Mexico and beyond. The company last raised €16 million in December 2021, bringing the total raised to over €42 million. The growing team of over 150 employees are continuing the vision to use tech to empower people with cycles to live full lives, not in spite of their biology, but in tune with it.

Clue’s Co-Founder Ida Tin joined us at the EU-Startups Summit in 2018, and when Clue received FDA Clearance last year to bring a digital birth control feature to market, they re-examined how they needed leadership to look for this new chapter. The decision they chose was a Co-CEO setup because it reflects Clue’s mission and vision of leading change through collaboration, support and equality.

Before taking on the shared responsibility of leading the company, Audrey held the position of CPO at Clue. Previously, Audrey led products and teams at Pinterest, HotelTonight, and Yelp. A regulatory lawyer by background, Carrie led international projects at the global law firm Freshfields in London and Berlin before becoming General Counsel at Clue, where she took charge of the company’s regulatory process towards FDA clearance for Clue Birth Control.

Clue is building something new: human-centred healthtech. At scale. At the Summit, Audrey and Carrie will share their experience of change, which will resonate with anyone setting out to define a new category where there is no known path to success. The Co-CEO’s will discuss how to build a business from a place that is values-consistent with the wider vision of the company.

The EU-Startups Summit is a must-attend for anyone and everyone who is involved with or interested in European startups. The event is fast approaching, so make sure you secure your ticket now. You can also check out more information about the Summit on our dedicated event page.
