Reaching the finals of the EIT Digital Challenge 2021 represents a significant milestone for scaleups on the verge of growing and expanding internationally. Now on September 21, 20 finalists will pitch online in the last stage of this prestigious competition, presenting a unique opportunity for investors and industry representatives to gain access to the most prominent European tech companies.
EIT Digital Challenge 2021
The EIT Digital Challenge has attracted more than 2,900 entries from all over Europe since launching in 2014. High-growth European deeptech scaleups compete to win prizes totalling €250K in cash and in kind, as well as tailor-made growth support from experts in 10 European countries, international visibility and access to the EIT Digital network.
This year’s EIT Digital Challenge edition saw 400+ applications come in from 33 European countries. After a rigorous selection process, 20 outstanding deep tech scaleups will compete in the final of the EIT Digital Challenge 2021, on 21 September.
From blockchain disrupting the food supply chain, to predictive transplantation and visual intelligence, these 20 finalists cover a wide variety of topics within the deep tech field. On average they have reached a revenue of €1 million in 2020, have received €4 million funding and employ 27 people.
