Tania Boler, founder of Elvie, will speak at the EU-Startups Summit on how femtech is tackling taboos and reinventing healthcare

On the 29th-30th April 2021, we’re hosting the 7th edition of the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona – will you join us? This 2-day event will give you the chance to meet over 1,500 participants (founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media), learn from 70+ expert speakers, take part in workshops with internationally successful founders, network (via our app!) and bite your nails through our exciting pitch competition.

Today we are excited to announce a new speaker: Tania Boler, CEO and co-founder of femtech Elvie. At the EU-Startups Summit, she will be giving a keynote on “From breast-pumps to pelvic floor workouts: how femtech is tackling taboos and reinventing healthcare”’.

Tania started Elvie in 2013 with a mission to bring women’s technology out of the dark ages. Created by women, for women, Elvie’s two products, the ‘Elvie Pump’ silent wearable breast pump, and ‘Elvie trainer’ for pelvic floor training, have revolutionised the sector and given women back control and autonomy of their bodies. About 7 years later, Elvie has been featured in media ranging from Vogue to Women’s health, and both products have been featured in the Oscar Nominee Gift Bags. The team is growing fast across London and New York, now with over 100+ employees, and will no doubt continue to soar, as in 2019 the team announced a whopping €37.5 million Series B round (the largest ever for a femtech).

Tania, who has held leadership positions for various global NGOs and the United Nations, will join us to share her insights on how she has grown Elvie into a successful femtech startup, her opinion on the future of femtech, the challenges associated with this taboo-related sector, and what she thinks can be done to encourage female entrepreneurship.

If you’d like to join us, there’s still time to secure your ticket to the EU Startups Summit 2021 in sunny Barcelona. Get inspired by our video below, or check out our information here (to be updated on a weekly basis). We look forward to seeing you there!
