Apply now to join the 6 week pre-acceleration program of EIT Digital (Sponsored)

Entrepreneurs have a natural urge to go against the odds and find their own path. EIT Digital believes in innovators who break down barriers and set out to disrupt an industry.

Their EIT Digital Venture Program is a 6 week pre-acceleration program which offers up to €15,000 in cash for entrepreneurs who have NOT incorporated yet, but seek to develop an Minimum Viable Product (MVP) from their idea. The program is equity-based, which means that the participating startups will have to give away 5% of their company shares.

The call for applications for this exciting EIT Digital initiative is open until the 5th of May. The EIT Digital Venture Program will support teams from 19 countries, with deep-tech business ideas, in finalizing their MVP and starting their venture.

With financial support, mentorship and a 6-weeks pre-acceleration phase executed by 4 regional partners in Greece, Latvia, Portugal and Slovenia. The program set out to help launch digital tech businesses. The regional partners of this program are ABC Accelerator, Foun.ation, Startup Wise Guys and BGI.

Residents of any of the following 19 countries can apply: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, North Macedonia, Greece, Malta, Montenegro, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania.

Who should apply: The program is for enthusiastic, entrepreneurial teams with strong value propositions and an existing prototype or Proof of Concept (PoC). You should be eager to finalise an MVP during an intensive six-week Pre-Acceleration Phase and be operating in one of the following focus areas: Digital Industry, Digital Tech, Digital Wellbeing, Digital Finance, or Digital Cities.
