Through its platform, you can find over 400 professional services, including personal trainers, electricians, photographers, English teachers, guitar classes, gardeners, and caterers. Founded by Marco Ogliengo and Silvia Wang in 2015, the startup has just raised a round of €6 million from investors including Immobiliare.it, bringing its total funding to €10 million.

ProntoPro already claims to have more than one million users in Italy, as well as 350k registered professionals on its platform. The startup currently employs a team of 100 people.

The startup recently launched in Austria and Switzerland, and this new round will support its further international expansion. Along with the funding round, Giovanni Ciserani, whose last position was with Procter & Gamble, will be joining the board of directors.

Co-founder Marco Ogliengo said: “This rapid growth fills us with satisfaction, but we are only at the beginning: there is a lot of work to do to improve our service, both for professionals and for customers. Tthe financing will be used to accelerate international expansion and improve the functionality of the platform. We are delighted to work with Giovanni Ciserani and to use his experience to structure our international growth.”
