Marco Trombetti, the founder & CEO of Translated and Pi Campus will speak at our EU-Startups Summit on May 2-3 in Barcelona!

On May 2-3, we’re going to host the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona. It will be the 6th edition of our annual flagship event – and with up to 1,200 startup founders and investors from across Europe also our biggest one so far!

Today we’re excited to announce another great speaker for this event. It is Marco Trombetti, the founder and CEO of Translated.com and of Pi Campus.

Marco is a serial entrepreneur and investor. In 1999, he co-founded Translated, one of the first Internet-based translation service providers. Translated’s services, backed by AI technologies, have been adopted by many leading global companies and fast-growing businesses. The company is headquartered in Rome, Italy, and already served 133,542 clients, in 150 languages, through more than 100K freelance professional translators.

To reinvest Translated’s profits into promising startups, Marco created a fund called Pi Campus, which he now leads as CEO. The venture capital firm invests in growth-stage technology startups, mostly in the AI field, with already more than 40 investments in Europe and US in its portfolio. Some of the companies funded by Pi Campus are based in a startup district located in Rome, where villas have been converted into offices to provide the best work environment for talented people.

At the EU-Startups Summit, Marco will talk about the learnings he made while founding and scaling Translated. He will also share some valuable highlights from his book “The New Prince – Why and how to start up”.

If we already sparked your interest for the upcoming EU-Startups Summit, make sure to secure your ticket now!

That being said, it would be awesome to meet you at the 2019 edition of the EU-Startups Summit on May 2-3 in Barcelona. More info can be found here (page will be updated on a weekly basis) and in the video below!
