On May 2-3, we’re going to host the EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona. It will be the 6th edition of our annual flagship event – and with up to 1,200 startup founders and investors from across Europe also our biggest one so far!
Today we’re excited to announce our 6th speaker for next year’s event. It is Naren Shaam, the founder and CEO of GoEuro!
Founded in 2012 in Berlin, GoEuro today is the leading booking platform for transport across Europe. The ambitious travel startup and its team of over 300 employees are on a mission to unify transport globally by accelerating product innovation and expanding into new markets, facilitating more convenient travel booking across the world. In total, GoEuro was able to raise about €261 million in venture capital from some of the world’s leading investors like Kinnevik AB, Kleiner Perkins, and Goldman Sachs.
GoEuro today operates the leading multi-modal transport booking platform in Europe, making direct sales on its platform for 80% of its transport providers. GoEuro already partners with over 800 European transport operators and offers ground and air travel options in 36 countries across Europe and full coverage in 15 of those markets, and more than 27 million people use GoEuro each month, three quarters of whom use mobile devices to access the platform.
