SmartDreamers, a recruitment marketing automation solution, has raised €1.2 million in a new investment round closed this October. The investment round was led by GapMinder Venture Partners, with participation Catalyst Romania. The fresh capital will be used for accelerated global growth.

Launched in 2014, SmartDreamers has succeeded in developing a series of social media recruitment solutions that have proven effective among Romanian companies. After a $700,000 investment in 2016, the team focused on automating the recruitment marketing process. So far, SmartDreamers has optimized the product in CEE and tested in several international markets. Currently, the solution is being used by global companies during the recruitment marketing process in markets such as Europe, the United States, Singapore, and Australia.

Dan Mihăescu, Founding Partner of GapMinder Venture Partners, stated:”The global recruitment market requires automated recruitment marketing solutions, and SmartDreamers has proven it can grow in a fast way. We are encouraged by the track so far and we are pleased to help build a global leader in the recruitment marketing automation market (RMA).”

Adrian Daniel Cernat, the CEO and co-founder of SmartDreamers commented: “Four years ago we were looking fearfully at the global market from a small town in Romania; now, we are bravely addressing it. Top brands are running recruitment marketing campaigns in regions such as the United States, Singapore, Australia, and the UK.”

SmartDreamers has made their first steps in the United States and Singapore, hiring people who will ensure business development and expand SmartDreamers’ customer portfolio. Expansion of operations will continue in Europe, with the startup featuring open positions in both Romania (Bucharest and Tirgu-Mures) and European cities like Paris, Munich, or London. SmartDreamers offers a recruitment marketing automation solution used by global and fast-growing companies.
