At our EU-Startups Summit in on April 24 in Barcelona we’ll welcome about 750 startup founders and investors from across Europe. Aside of fireside chats with successful entrepreneurs, a big pitch competition and other highlights, we’ll also have a panel discussion with some of Europe’s best startup accelerators. Leading figures of the following 5 accelerators will join us on stage:
Startup Wise Guys: Europe’s first B2B focused startup accelerator was founded in 2012 and is a pioneer in the accelerator business. The Tallinn- and Riga-based firm offers an 3+1 month acceleration program coupled with seed investment of €20K, great mentors and a well established business network. With already more than 50 accelerated companies, Startup Wise Guys is becoming the largest investor in B2B companies in the Baltics and the entire CEE region.
METRO Accelerator: The METRO accelerator is a highly selective mentorship program for technology startups across the entire value chain of hospitality and retail. Out of 100s of applications they select 10 startups. So far, they already invested in 40 startups world-wide. Together with their partner Techstars, they are one of the best hospitality & retail tech accelerator programs in the world, and the only one in Europe. MHP: The new startup programs of MHP are the gateway to collaborative innovation and provide startups of all stages with training, support, and know-how. MHP, which is a Porsche company, is especially focused on industries/topics like of mobility, IT, cybersecurity, manufacturing, VC, and startup growth.
TechStars: A startup accelerator program providing access to investment, mentorship and collaboration with other top entrepreneurs. TechStars provides Accelerator portfolio companies with access to financial, human and intellectual capital to fuel the success of their business. Every TechStars company is offered a $100,000 convertible note. TechStars also contributes $20,000, which is commonly used as a stipend to support living expenses during the program, and in return receives 6% common stock from each company.
Startupbootcamp: One of Europe’s leading acceleration players with several different industry focused startup accelerator programs. Startupbootcamp startups have direct access to an international network of relevant mentors, partners, investors in their sector to help them scale globally. The 3-month programs offer €15K in cash per team to cover living expenses during the program, free office space, and more than €500K+ in exclusive partner deals from leading technology providers.
At the event: After an introduction of each participating accelerator and their strengths, we’re going to talk about topics like “how to find the right accelerator for your startup”, “how did the accelerator landscape evolve”, (etc.).
