Paris-based Hxperience raises €1.4 million to make buildings smarter

The Paris-based startup Hxperience has just secured €1.4 million in funding led by Axeleo Capital, the enterprise software investment fund from the startup accelerator Axeleo, with participation from angel investors from the AngelSquare community.

Founded in 2015 by former Nokia executives Patrick Fichou and Claude Favreau, Hxperience is developing a smart building platform called SMATI. The software utilises IoT devices and predictive analytics to collect and analyse data around a building to optimise operational costs. SMATI is offered as a Software as a Service solution and can be deployed very quickly. Today the Hxperience team already counts 15 employees.

According to the management team of Hxperience, the fresh capital will be used to reinforce the company’s sales and data scientist resources. Hxperience’s objectives are to accelerate the business development plan both in France and abroad on the one hand, and to enrich product analytics features (in the areas of predictive maintenance and usage analysis) on the other hand.
