With an increasing number of co-working spaces, incubators, events and conferences, the Croatian startup community is growing and becoming more and more vibrant. Freelancers and tech entrepreneurs have all contributed to a growing grassroots tech wave in the city of Zagreb and the co-working spaces have provided them office space and services to help their businesses grow. You’re a freelancer or digital nomad traveling to Zagreb soon? Or a Croatian startup? Watch out: Here are 10 of the best co-working spaces Zagreb has to offer:

BizKoshnica is a new spacious and comfortable 200 m² area located in the centre of Zagreb. Equipped with the necessary office and communication infrastructure, it offers creative entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers and professionals from various fields modern office space, as well as lounge area for socializing and event zone. Yoga classes are organized twice a week to sharpen your mind and fill yourself with good energy. Cost: Monthly packages vary from €45 to €185.

Hub385When a former textile factory building was turned into a space to create and share, HUB385 was created. As one of the biggest co-working spaces in Croatia, Hub385 is the home of young developers, makers, creatives and entrepreneurs, offering them a co-working space, conference rooms, rooms for relaxation, hardware lab, tech events, workshops and meetups. Cost: Monthly packages vary from €45 to €170.

Impact hub – The Croatian branch of Impact hub is striving to give creative individuals, companies and organizations best possible conditions in which great ideas come to life. It has all the standard services of a co-working space, from free coffee and beanbag chairs to access to printers, Skype rooms and on-site restaurant. Being part of the Impact hub family means having access to an ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities. Cost: Monthly packages vary from €20 to €185. 

Zip.Factory – Centered on helping startups launch and succeed, ZIP factory offers modern shared work office, full office services, fully equipped kitchen and library and lounge area. Best part is the hands on experience of being inside an accelerator and the possibility to share your ideas with startups, mentors and investors. In the meantime, there is always time for a soccer game. Cost: Monthly package is available for €110.  

CoreHub was funded by Core Incubator, as a 24/7 open space for work with complete office infrastructure, mentoring from different areas relevant to the development and growth of business and access to capital. CoreHUB provides a diverse network of mentors and a lot of educational events, meetups and workshops, making it excellent for networking. Cost: Free.

Technology park Zagreb – The tech park’s co-working space offers renting a desk or office on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. In addition to fully equipped, modern offices, they offer consultations, education, legal aid and other services related to entrepreneurial ventures. A big plus is the networking and mentorship opportunities, access to acceleration program and exposure to latest technology. Cost: Monthly package is available for €80.  

WorkUp incubator is a business incubator, focused on green projects and self sustaining development. It offers desk space, offices, or virtual office service as well as additional support in the form of accounting services, tax counseling, as well as seminars and educational training on the topics of business development. Cost: Monthly packages vary from €125 to €190. 

Regus Savska is part of the global Regus network of office space. They offer multifunctional offices, full services, access to educational opportunities and networking events. Serving both startups and large corporations in Zagreb, Regus is a modern workplace with hourly, daily, monthly and yearly membership opportunities. Cost: To learn about the prices, you’ll have to request a quote.

Offspace offers fully furnished office suites with multifunction devices, telephones, furniture, access to high-speed internet, meeting rooms and support services on a pay-per-use basis. Additional services can also be tailored to the needs of residents. Offspace is not co-working in the true sense of the word, however is available for everyone who wants to reduce the cost of doing business. Cost: Monthly rental package is available from €500.

Lauba is a “playground” for contemporary culture in Zagreb, used by experts in the field of contemporary science, music, dance and film as an exhibition space, a cinema, a theater stage, or a lecture room. Although the concept of co-working is not fully integrated, there is a possibility to use their space to work from 11 am to 11 pm every day, in a pleasant ambiance, with access to Wi-Fi and printer and scanner. Cost: Monthly package is available for €135.
