CallPage.io, a Cracow-based startup which we listed as a Polish startup to look out for in 2016, has recently secured a €500K investment by the new and also Poland-based VC fund BValue.
CallPage was founded in 2015 and offers a system that converts online visitors into inbound sales calls. Currently, the system is used by by Orange, VW, PWC, BDO and about 1,000 other companies.
The CallPage plug-in can be installed on your website and enables you to get in contact with a potential customer in less than 30 seconds. If a website visitor is interested in the offer and has additional questions, they leave their contact details and the company calls back quickly and conveniently. By using CallPage, companies are increasing the number of calls with increasing quality of customers experience. Everything is done automatically by the system, which has been developed the young CallPage founders.
In the beginning, the CallPage founders financed the startup independently, and after 1.5 months of work they got their first investment of €50,000 from the fund AIP Seed Capital and several Business Angels.
Soon afterwards CallPage participated in the accelerator program Ready2GO in London and in the B2B accelerator Startup Wise Guys. During this acceleration phase, the CallPage founders held 200 meetings with mentors from around the world, increased their team to 10 people and began to generate a nice amount of revenues.
The €500K investment from BValue will be used to further develop the product and increase sales in foreign markets. By the end of 2016, CallPage plans to serve about 2,000 companies from all over the world.
