The startup consultancy Empaua today announced it raised a growth funding round and added Salesforce Ventures as an investor. This seems to be a natural fit, since Empaua helps startups with professional support and implementation to fully maximize Salesforce. The concrete amount of funding was not disclosed.
Empaua was founded in Berlin in 2014 and today employs around 40 employees in its Berlin headquarters and in its offices in London, Barcelona and Madrid. The startup helps founders and companies fully utilize Salesforce deployments. Empaua streamlines processes, removing intermediate manual steps for companies, so startups can easily scale as they grow and gain access to end-to-end analysis of their business.
Empaua’s goal is to become a leading Salesforce implementation partner for startups in EMEA. The consulting agency will use this investment for further expansion: In addition to existing branches in Barcelona, Berlin, London and Madrid, Empaua has also planned new offices in Paris, Tel Aviv and Zurich. Additional experienced staff will also be hired and an “Empaua Academy” will be founded in order to provide startup consulting teams with the best interdisciplinary training and ensure high quality results.
Salesforce is the world’s #1 CRM company and Customer Success Platform. And Empaua allows young, disruptive companies to use the agility and speed of cloud technology.
After his own startup experience and consulting dozens of clients, Malte Warczinski, founder and CEO of Empaua, is convinced that startups require agile systems that keep pace with quick growth and can be tailored precisely to their business models and processes. He stated: “Empaua prepares startups for hyper-growth. With the new capital, we will help even more companies become the ‘next big thing’ in their market and industry. As we take care of the processes, the founders can focus on their products and customers.”
Empaua has already supported 74 well-known startups throughout Europe and completed 145 projects since it was founded end of 2014. Its clients are businesses as varied as Number26, the provider of mobile checking accounts; FinanceFox, the insurance broker; and Movinga, the relocation platform.
