STARTUP SCALEUP is an acceleration program for startups out of the “Internet of Things”-sector (IoT). The program helps European startup teams whose objective is to facilitate both internationalization and funding.
STARTUP SCALEUP is funded by the European Union (Startup Europe initiative) and is completely free for the entrepreneurs. The acceleration program, which takes 6 months, provides startups with access to physical resources based in Cartagena (Spain), Dublin (Ireland), Vilnius (Latvia) and Zoetermeer (The Netherlands). But more importantly, the participating startups get access to venture capital funds and specialised mentors throughout Europe. Furthermore, several additional services are provided for complementing other ones that startups normally use. STARTUP SCALEUP is a good opportunity for IoT startups, since they get access to:
- International investor groups that are specifically focused on Internet of Things and Mobile Services.
- International visibility through the Startup Europe initiative.
- Expert mentoring and training related to internationalization, marketing, technology, and Internet of Things and Mobile Services-based business.
- International mobility throughout a European network that comprises several incubators and accelerators.
