Fiedler Capital and Oxygen Accelerator launch exclusive acceleration programme for CEE startups

For the first time ever, Fiedler Capital (a Central and Eastern European venture capital firm) and Oxygen Accelerator (which is based in the UK) have partnered to make an entire cohort exclusively of Eastern European and Baltic startups.

Oxygen, which is headquartered in Birmingham, and Fiedler Capital are looking to invest up to €200K in world-changing startups that have global ambitions, starting with a 3-month acceleration programme in Spring 2015, also located in Birmingham. The successful startups will initially receive €21K in return for 8% equity. Applications close on 8 February 2015 (Update – May 2023: The website seems to be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link).

Additionally, to raise awareness of the cohort, Oxygen & Fiedler Capital will tour across 11 cities in Central and Eastern Europe to meet the best startups from the region. Startups can meet the team, sign up for one-to-one sessions and hear advice about international investment, followed by networking drinks. The events are as follows:

  • Tallinn – Weds 7th Jan – Tehnopol
  • Riga – Thurs 8th Jan – TechHubRiga
  • Vilnius – Fri 9th Jan – ISM Innovators Base
