The first edition of our EU-Startups Conference last Friday went quite well! Overall, about 80 people showed up at the WERK1 in Munich. We not only had participants from Germany, but from nine different European countries – and even two guests from the US and one from Japan.
We can guess that our guests liked the intimate atmosphere, which led to great networking opportunities. Beside our speakers/interviewees Bernhard Niesner (busuu), Jeff Lynn (Seedrs) and Markus Grundmann (Target Partners), we had a pitch competition with eight awesome startups. The winner was the Prague-based taxi app Liftago, who we’ll report on in more detail during this week.
Below you’ll find some visual impressions from our first event. A big thank you to our jury member Joachim Günster, who not only advised startups on their pitching technique, but also took some great photos during the event.
We have already prepared a long list of things that we’d like to do better next year, which is exciting! We hope to see some of you at our next EU-Startups Conference in 2015! 🙂
