After a long and careful application process this past spring, yesterday marked the start for Bonnier Accelerator 2014 and the entrepreneurs from startups Abios Gaming and Codarica.
As it is well known, Bonnier Accelerator is a 3-month program designed to help start-ups with digital media ideas to develop their ideas and business plan, in order to take the product to the market or to the next level. Open to all regardless of country, Bonnier Accelerator is unique in requiring no equity.
The two teams are now taking their places at Bonnier HQ in downtown Stockholm. The three-month program will see the teams taking part in workshops on entrepreneurial skills, developing a business model, the value proposition, plus they will take part in several key networking events in Bonnier, as well as spend time with specially chosen mentors and receive coaching on their pitches, which they’ll be giving in mid-October to the Bonnier Growth Media team.
Oskar Fröberg, CEO and founder of Abios Gaming, says: “It’s going to be great to work together with Bonnier. We look forward to continuing to develop Abios Gaming and giving eSport the recognition its fans are looking for.”
On the other side, Rosalyn Knapp, technological strategist and founder of Codarica says: “We have a ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’ feeling! We are very excited to join Bonnier Accelerator and looking forward to all the intensive challenges ahead of us.”
