Nezasa, a one stop shop for fully customizable and personalized travel itineraries that offers clients the ease of booking everything in one place, has just closed an investment round with the support of a family office, business angels and existing investors. The new capital, in excess of $800K, will be used to extend Nezasa’s offerings and firstmarket penetration.
The investors of the Zurich-based startup Nezasa include Paul Sevinç and Myke Näf, the founders of Doodle, and Gregory Gerhardt, founder of Amazee Labs and Amazee Metrics. They all have an impressive track record as entrepreneurs and provide valuable expertise to Nezasa. Paul Sevinç is also a member of Nezasa’s board of directors along with travel industry experts. The startup, which was founded in 2012, says on its website that it offers the service and comfort of offline agencies, combined with the benefits of an online platform.
“Over the last year, Nezasa has taken huge strides in combining the service and convenience of a traditional travel agency with the advantage and ease of booking online,” said Nezasa CEO Manuel Hilty. “This new series of investments will give Nezasa a boost in extending its service to exciting new destinations in Asia and other areas around the world.”
Nezasa co-founder Devon Perry added that the company is currently exploring potential new destinations in Asia and Africa. He said: “We’re constantly evaluating new destinations and top suppliers in order to bring the best possible products to our platform,”
