The Berlin-based startup Testhub today announced that it has agreed to be acquired by Applause (formerly known as uTest), one of the leading players in the global crowdtesting market (Update – May 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link). The price and further details of this acquisition has (yet) not been disclosed.
Applause, which is based in Framingham, the US, will maintain the entire testhub team in Berlin as their new European headquarters. Testhub’s team recently stated that is looking forward to taking crowdtesting in Europe to new heights of reach and reliability. The just-formed Applause EU has already worked with 140,000+ professional testers from 200 countries aand territories.
The Testhub community will also soon merge with the uTest community, which will enable the Applause EU community to earn even more paid projects, receive free training, and get other great perks from Applause (uTest). Applause EU will continue to help customers solve their testing problems for web, mobile and desktop applications.
