Rocket Internet, the (in)famous Berlin-based startup incubator, has two brand new projects in the pipeline.
The first one is a Homejoy clone named Helpling. Like its American role model, Helpling will be a platform that matches you with a screened and certified professional cleaner in just a few clicks. Rumors say that there are already about 30 people at Rocket Internet who are working on the Helpling project. The startup will officially launch in the next few weeks, and as many of Rocket’s previous startups, we expect an international roll-out right from the start.
The second Rocket Internet startup on our radar, which is one of its most recent projects, is KlickBus (Update – May 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link). Originally launching in Brazil and Mexico as ClickBus, Rocket Internet is now helping this startup to enter the already quite crowded market of intercity bus search engines in Germany. KlickBus and its competitors like CheckMyBus and BusTicket enable you to compare bus routes, prices and comfort features in an easy way.
