With the acquisition of Bergfreunde.de (for an undisclosed sum), Backcountry enters the European market with a great brand. Bergfreunde.de was founded in 2006 and has grown quickly with a focus on premium outdoor products, best-in-class customer experience, and an outstanding management team and employees.
