Boston-based Hungarian startup ‘Sold’ acquired by Dropbox

Sold, the Hungarian startup based in Boston, USA has got acquired by Dropbox, and they are shutting down their services.

The company used to secure 1.2 million USD by investors Google Ventures, Greylock Partners and Matrix Partners, focusing their services on people too busy to use Ebay. They had a special algorhythm providing a much better average price on goods, and their services also included packaging solutions.

The whole acquisition process took for 4 weeks, and the 9 people of Sold will join Dropbox, creating a seperate team within the organization.
