Startup Safary aims to create Europe’s biggest startup event

The makers behind the initiative Startup Safary have just launched a crowdfunding campaign to create “Europe’s largest independent startup event”. The Berlin-based team aims to raise € 35,000 on the German crowdfunding platform StartNext.

The project, Startup Safary Berlin, will consist of hundreds of events held by over 100 participating companies that will take place on the 6th of September 2013. Every attendee can create their individual event schedule online, travel the city and get insight into the most interesting startups and tech companies Berlin has to offer. The founders of Startup Safary describe the event as kind of similar to Long Night of Museums, but instead of museums, it’s startups that open their doors, and instead of taking place at night – it takes place from 8AM till midnight.

Check out their fundraising video below – and if you like what you see: Support them!
