Jeff-Bezos-pictureJeff Bezos (Founder / CEO of Amazon): In interviews with different media outlets he named ‘The Remains of the Day’ and ‘Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies’ as among his most favourites. Bezos onces said: “If you read The Remains of the Day, which is one of my favorite books, you can’t help but come away and think, I just spent 10 hours living an alternate life and I learned something about life and about regret.” The second book (Build to Last) talks about breaking free from business myths and delving into new thoughts and ideas to create mega companies, which stand the test of time.

Tony-Hsieh-pictureTony Hsieh (Founder / CEO Zappos): He once stated, that ‘Tribal Leadership: Leveraging Natural Groups to Build a Thriving Organization’ is amongst his favorite books. He stated “At Zappos.com, our No. 1 priority is company culture. Tribal Leadership codifies a lot of what we’ve been doing instinctually and provides a great framework for all companies to bring company culture to the next level.” Another favourite of Tony Hsieh is ‘Peak: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo from Maslow’. Regarding this book, Tony stated: “The author of Peak takes Maslow’s hierarchy, condenses it to three levels, and explains how to apply them to customers, employees, as well as investors.”
