Brainbow, a London-based startup that aims to combine games, health and education, has just secured $1 million in seed funding from Initial Capital, DN Capital, LVP, Lifeline Ventures, Jaina Capital and some prominent angel investors.
This round of financing will enable Brainbow to grow the team and to focus on building awesome gaming products; for example, in the past few months, Brainbow has already released a few ‘teaser’ iOS apps like “Brainbow Numbers”.
Founded in 2012, Brainbow’s mission is to reinvent how we consume and ‘play’ with knowledge. The startup aims to create a more enjoyable experience while turning knowledge into games, on mobile and tablets. Brainbow plans to release two mobile knowledge games this year – so stay tuned for more updates and news on their exciting projects.
