Loic and Geraldine Le Meur sell a majority stake in LeWeb

LeWeb is one of Europe’s biggest tech conferences (Update – March 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link). The event was founded by Loic Le Meur around 8 years ago, and given its huge growth in recent years, has garnered a lot of attention.

Now, LeWeb has been acquired by the international conference organizer Reed Midem. Loic Le Meur, who remains a LeWeb shareholder together with his wife, Géraldine Le Meur, is a well known French entrepreneur who emigrated to the US, specifically San Francisco.
