Textmaster-logoTextMaster, the crowdsourced platform for content translation, copywriting, and proofreading, has raised its first funding round: €1.64 million from the French VC fund Alven Capital and business angels. socialbakers-logoSocialbakers, one of the world’s leading social analytics firms, has raised $6million of new funding from Index Ventures, joined by existing investor Earlybird Capital. The funds will be used for further expansion and product development. vevo-logoVevo, the #2 video site in the US, broadened its European expansion with launches in France, Spain and Italy after kicking-off its expansion last year in the UK.  Given that Vevo was founded out of a partnership between the music majors Universal and Sony, YouTube and Abu Dhabi Media Company, their positioning focuses on licensed music content.
