Paris-based Leetchi launches in Germany and the UK with €4 million of new funding

The Paris-based social payments startup Leetchi.com has recently secured €4 million in a new round of funding led by Idinvest.

According to the Rude Baguette, the fresh capital will primarily be used for the expansion to the UK and Germany, which has already started. Since Leetchi is now available in French, German and English, the young company, which was founded in 2009, is on a good path to become a truly European player in the group payment solutions space.

Leetchi.com offers a service that allows users to collect and manage money for a group of people. This simplifies, for example, the process of collecting money for group gifts, trips and parties.
