Ecommerce personalization service Proactify raises $100K

Jiri Kopsa and Josef Holy, the co-founders of the ecommerce personalization service Proactify, just announced they raised a seed round of $100.000 from Absurd Capital and Rockaway Enterprises. The Prague based startup will use the investment to grow the team.

Proactify was founded in 2011 as a startup of the Prague-based accelerator StartupYard. The young company created a tool which brings smart techniques of proactive selling and personalization to ecommerce websites of all types and sizes. Via the integration of a small code into online-shops, Proactify learns about your customer’s preferences. This knowledge will then be used to recommend the right products to individual customers. Proactify is working on a beta version these days, co-operating with top ecommerce sites like sconto.cz.

Jiri Kopsa, co-founder of Proactify, stated: “Todays eshops are just like paper catalogs – uniform for every customer. We help ecommerce sites to utilize their data and present different products to individual customers, thus maximize the few minutes of customer attention and drive up conversion rates and sales.”
