European Startups Podcast: A news roundtable with Benoit Curdy (ex-Googler and Vocalytics’ founder)

In the third episode of the European Startups Podcast, Benoit Curdy (ex-Googler and Vocalytics’ founder) and I talk about some of the biggest and latest news coming out of the European startup scene. It’s my first appearance in a podcast ever, and as you might notice my English is not the best. I’m sure I can do better, so watch out for the next episode of our news round-table!

In this episode, Ben and I talked about the recently launched Fab.com-clone Bamarang (and about the clone companies by the Samwer brothers in general), Ashton Kutcher’s recent investment in Gidsy.com (and Amen), Flattr’s founder Peter Sunde (who faces eight months in jail), European Founders who start their company in Silicon Valley, and the recent launch of mangatar (an Italian social games startup) (Update – February 2023: Unfortunately this old episode of the European Startups Podcast has since been lost, so we have removed the link).

By the way: You can still check out the newest episodes of our Podcast here.
