The London and Edinburgh-based startup Eventasaurus has just raised an undisclosed angel round from some well known investors/entrepreneurs out of London. Hussein Khanji, a former Accel VC we interviewed back in July, has also joined the startup as an advisor (Update – February 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link).
Eventasaurus was founded earlier this year by John Sutherland Sam Collins. It’s still in private beta, but aims to help promote their events to major social networks in just one click.
The event dashboard, which will publicly available soon, was designed for event planners, event managers and organisers, so that they can manage, collect and engage with RSVPs across different platforms (for e.g. Facebook, Eventbrite, meetup…). Eventasaurus will try to stop these folks from all that repeat, manual work which they find themselves doing (like creating events on different social networks, aggregating attendee lists) and allow them to focus on running awesome events.
