The advertising network InfluAds, which is based in Copenhagen, is going to re-launch its platform on June 21st as “the first crowd-sourced Ad Network that is powering the Quality Web”. The new version of InfluAds allows publishers to team up with other publishers and develop carefully curated ad networks around their passion, focusing on quality through a minimalist ad presence. InfluAds provides its publishers with one simple (but premium) ad per page.
In addition to the upcomming re-launch, InfluAds just announced Kima Ventures as their seed investor. Anibal Damião (CEO, InfluAds) stated in relation to the seed funding: “This investment will allow us to scale operations, whilst keeping our focus on building a unique advertising platform for the Quality Web.”
The young company was founded on February of 2010 by Anibal Damião. InfluAds was bootstrapped to its current status and has welcomed over 200 publishers within the 16 months of its existence.
