Copenhagen-based InfluAds raises funds and re-launches as a crowdsourced ad network

The advertising network InfluAds, which is based in Copenhagen, will re-launch its platform on 21 June as “the first crowd-sourced Ad Network that is powering the Quality Web” (Update – January 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link).

The new version of InfluAds allows publishers to team up with other publishers and develop carefully curated ad networks around their passion, focusing on quality through a minimalist ad presence. InfluAds provides its publishers with one simple, but premium, ad per page.

In addition to its upcoming re-launch, InfluAds just announced Kima Ventures as their seed investor. Anibal Damião, the CEO of InfluAds, commented in relation to the seed funding: “This investment will allow us to scale operations, whilst keeping our focus on building a unique advertising platform for the Quality Web.”

The young company was founded in February of 2010 by Anibal Damião. InfluAds was bootstrapped until recently and has welcomed over 200 publishers within its 16 months of its existence.
