Seedcamp, the European startup incubator, recently announced the two winners of its recent event in Berlin: Mopapp and The Efficient Cloud, who will join Seedcamp’s 38 existing portfolio companies (Update – January 2023: The startup Mopapp seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link).
The ‘mini’ Seedcamp Berlin had the highest number of applications ever, outside of London. Seedcamp recently stated in its blog that: “the quality of the pitching companies was impressive and the positive tension in the room during their presentations was incredible”.
Here is some more information about the two startup companies:
- Mopapp, based in Bologna, Italy, is an analytics tool for developers and publishers to track and analyze their mobile app revenues from all major online stores (Apple App Store, Google Android Market, GetJar, RIM App World…) and major mobile ad networks.
- The Efficient Cloud, based in Vienna, Austria, is a cost-effective platform-as-a-service technology for hosting providers. Integration with Ruby on Rails, Java, Django, .NET and PHP.
