tolingo, a German translation startup, plans its international expansion

Hamburg-based online translation agency tolingo is busy planning its international expansion.

Since 2007, tolingo has been translating texts into multiple language combinations, adapting them to the intended cultural environment and proofreading them down to the last detail. Their translations are known for being both precise, and eloquent. At the moment tolingo.com is available in German, French, English, Polish, Dutch and Italian.

The translation startup is supported by a team of over 6,000 specialist translators who are based all over the world. In 2010 the young company made a turnover of around seven figures.

According to the company’s CEO Gunnar Piening (who is also former CEO of Swoopo), the next step for this German company is to build a sales team in the US, UK and France.
