French startup Yakaz just announced the launch of a new platform for real-time social classified ads (Update – December 2022: The startup seems to be no longer in business and we therefore deactivated the link).
The service, which includes a chat feature, helps its users to sell, buy and rent items in a fun and easy way. They can trade within their own personal networks or just add additional people to said network. The ads that are posted on the new platform are limited to 280 characters. To make it simple, Yakaz automatically recognizes the keywords of each ad and places it in the right category.
The French internet company Yakaz was founded in 2005 and has so far grown to about 15 million unique visitors a month. Plus, the Yakaz platform is currently available in 50 languages.
