German startup Windeln.de, a clone of diaper.com, launches its website

Last Friday, the German diapers.com-clone Windeln.de launched it’s website after several month of preparation. Young parents in Germany can now order products for their little ones’ needs, to be delivered comfortably right to their door.

Windeln.de was started by Alexander Brand (founder of 12snap), Dagmar Mahnel and Konstantin Urban. Before the official launch of the service, the startup completed a financing round in the seven-digit-area, with the participation of investores Hightech Gründerfonds and Capital.

Based in Munich (Germany), the Windeln.de shop is based on the Magento-Software, according to excitingcommerce.de.
