The language learning community busuu.com is partnering with the British publisher Collins and other publishers like the German PONS Group. The cooperations help busuu to offer grammar guides to its over 1 million users. The new grammar guides will be available to busuu’s 1 million users priced at 9.99 Euro for those users on a free account and 7.99 Euro for Premium users. The language learning startup is based in Spain (Madrid) and was founded by Bernhard Niesner and Adrian Hilti.
If you are wondering where the funny name comes from: Busuu is a language spoken in Cameroon – based on an ethnological study conducted in the 80ies, apparently only eight people are able to speak this language.
