Itembase is your personal inventory. Using your smart @itembase email, all your on- and offline purchases are automatically stored in one place. Manuals, receipts and newsletters are analysed by our unique semantic systems and neatly organized for your convenience. Newly purchased products, experiences and reviews can be shared with Itembase friends and across social networks. Additionally, you can easily sell your products with just one click through our partners. Our vision is to become the “Online inventory for everything and everyone”. What are you going to do?

You will be supporting the creative Design Team which involves conceptualizing, creating mock ups and completing designs to a finished state ready for implementation. We put a lot of emphasis on UX design and you will need to have a good understanding of how people react to certain styles and elements. You will also be looking for ways too improve our design based upon existing benchmarks and user interfaces. You will be working closely together with our lead designer and front-end developers to create a state of the art design which is both innovative and effective. You will get a lot of freedom within your projects which will enable you to acitvely contribute to the course of itembase.

Who are we looking for?

You should have the following skills:

- Experience within web design of user interface elements
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Ability to communicate your concepts clearly and to discuss concepts to non-designers
- Curiosity about new technology and a good eye for details
- Effective UI is created from an understanding of human psychology, we're don't expect Sigmund Freud but an interest is always appreciated.
- Fluency in English
- Initiative! We're all busy and we need you to be able to recognize tasks that need completion
