Junior Developer

Pondip Limited is a user generated, social network designed specifically for Anglers.

We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Developers to join our growing team. You will work alongside our Design and Development Directors (co-founders) and help create specific features and functions within our application.

This role will suit a coder who is looking to gain experience in the world of tech start ups, gain credit on your portfolio and CV and to learn new skills. Each team member will be given access to a portion of our site via the frame work. Here you will build and design code to a given specification. Your code will be reviewed by the Design and Development Directors and once approved launched to our live site.

You will be part of a dynamic team. You will work remotely but will be invited to join monthly management meetings in central London (not mandatory). Your passion, attitude and results will be rewarded with more responsibility and the possibility of equity stake further down the line. We are looking to nurture your skills and help you to grow as a developer.

All team members will be offered a place on our wall of fame and any published work successfully completed by you will be credited to your name. A link to your personal site or portfolio will also be added.

We have a clear vision of Pondip Limited and the possibilities that lie ahead – Fishing is the largest participated sport in the UK with 1.9 million anglers. European statistics are equally exciting. Responsibilities:
- Working alongside our Design and Development Directors
- Working on and assisting with specific areas of front end and back development
- Build new features to given specifications
- Assist with the transform of wireframes into prototypes
- Working in a team with other people located remotely
- Ability to work alone
- Working to hit deadlines
- Be able to communicate in an effective way with other developers of the team
- Well organised and proactive
