We collect vast amounts of data from interactions with millions of users every day. Our BI team provides reporting tools and analysis to all business units in the company. To develop and scale our reporting infrastructure, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer.
Your Role
You take overall ownership of the business intelligence systems @ SponsorPay from a technical point of view.
You plan and implement a scalable business intelligence infrastructure that meets current and future needs of the company
You implement new reports and reporting tools end-to-end, from business requirements analysis to design to implementation and QA.
You work in close cooperation with our business teams and our IT development and system administration teams.
You ensure data accuracy and timeliness of all reporting systems
You provide data analysis and ad-hoc reports as needed by the business units
Your Skills and Qualifications
An excellent university degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, statistics or similar field
3+ years of work experience as business intelligence / data warehouse engineer or similar role.
Track record of successfully implementing a business intelligence system that handled large amounts of data and satisfied complex reporting requirements
Data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling. Real-world experience with SAP BusinessObjects / CrystalReports or similar tools a big plus.
SQL Wizard. You are no stranger to SQL queries with hundreds of lines. Stored procedures and ETL scripts are your bread and butter.
Very high attention to detail - you obsess about providing 100% accurate data
Very self driven. The ability to multi task and to work autonomously.
