Description

About us

We have a simple but ambitious goal: to sell train tickets the best way we can, everywhere in Europe. Finding and booking a train ticket should be as simple as hopping a train.

Capitaine Train has been founded by 3 engineers obsessed by simplicity. Our organization is very simple and flat: those who make product decisions are the same who build them. We are a young and small start-up and we are growing quickly. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on the growth of the company.

Our beautiful offices are located in the heart of Paris (métro Poissonière or Bonne-Nouvelle). We are surrounded by a lot of bars, restaurants, theaters and near the four main Parisian train stations. We offer a decent package including fixed and variable salaries, an awesome health coverage plan plus stock options.

You

You are self-motivated, entrepreneurial and have great attention to detail. You understand communication and business. You live in social networks, know how the press works and have some experiences in sales.

You are reliable, enthusiastic and your writing skills in German are awesome. You know how to sit in someone’s shoes and see things from their perspective. You believe it’s art when a great customer service person manages to convert an angry person into a raving fan.

Role

You will pursue business development and sales opportunities in Germany. We need you to plan, develop, and execute strategic roadmaps.

You will also help our customers to solve their problems. You will go the extra mile to follow-up with them, ensuring they are getting the most out of Capitaine Train and have them spread the word. Working with developers and operations, you will make recommendations to improve the quality of our service.

You will be in charge of editing our texts: website, blog, press releases, help articles, etc. You will be in relation with the media and you will improve Capitaine Train exposure by increasing our press coverage.
