Who we are:

We are the Richmond Group; a firm that specialises in creating and funding educational solutions, having actively invested in several promising education companies within the last year; including an app that can teach a language within a month, and are looking to invest at an even earlier stage.

The Opportunity:

This can be seen as being similar to a paid long-term Hackathon, giving you the opportunity to work on many different concepts until success is realized, at which point you’ll fully lead the business with the other members of your team and propel it into success.

One of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs and other business specialists will be on hand, to assist you when needed, however you’ll take full ownership of your results, growth and product development at every stage of the process.

You will receive equity in the business you’ll create whilst gaining hands on experience with the highest level of exposure and responsibility that comes with creating your own product.

You’ll be paired up with two other like-minded co-founders; an entrepreneurial type and a CTO/Full-stack developer type, and become part of a new programme designed to bring ideas to launch and place them into the hands of educators and learners.

Motivating yourself and team members to hit key deadlines will be essential. As the UX/UI designer, you'll have to be proficient in multiple skills, ranging from psychology to design and technology.

You’ll be able to shape your teams' ideas into incredible products that could radicalise education; for example by increasing the speed and effectiveness of learning.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in UX/UI design would be necessary, specifically in regards to mobile apps. Experience working alongside senior developers would be advantageous.

Experience working with large datasets would also be beneficial.
