Geoblink is looking for a passionate designer with proven experience working with digital products  who has great skills modelling the UX and UI. You would be the lead UX/UI Designer of the team working together with the product managers to make sure the new features developed look beautiful, are easy and intuitive to interact with, are consistent across the product and ultimately delight our users.

Requirements:

  •  Great design/UX/UI chops with a great attention to detail.
  •  A demonstrated passion for user experience and a track record of consistently incorporating a user-centered approach to design work.
  • Ability to gather requirements by talking to users/stakeholders and rapidly creating interactive prototypes using Photoshop, Sketch and Invision
  • Experience solving complex functionality and turning it into a pretty and easy to use website.
  • Extra kudos if you have knowledge or experience developing front end and/or working with a front end framework like Angular or React.
  • Extra kudos if you know what a SPA is and you have experience working with them.

You are:

  • A curious person, love learning and learn quickly.
  • Have a good eye for good design, great attention to detail and are a little bit of a perfectionist.
  • Get irritated when using a website that has a poor design and almost smashed your laptop last time you had to purchase Renfe tickets online.
  • Also get very irritated when you spot a billboard using Comic Sans.
  • Able to explain what you did during the weekend in English.
  • Don’t mind working in a extremely busy startup because you are learning a ton of things, are having fun while working with smart people in an non-ego environment and are building something that has a big impact.

You will:

  • Lead Design, UX and UI at Geoblink.
  • Talk to our users and run usability testing sessions with them.
  • Make sure our users love using our applications.
  • Work side by side with the Product and Tech teams.
  • Create a look for the components used in the site and style them up using CSS to to make them pretty and usable.
  • Have a strong weight in how to develop the front end of the applications.
